I live in the dormitory and can't establish a network connection, what should I do?

You live in a dormitory of the Studierendenwerk Kaiserslautern and would like to use the internet access?

The student dormitories have a central fiber optic connection to the TU Kaiserslautern and provide you with 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet in your apartment, which is free of charge. You should be able to find a network socket in your apartment.

If your hardware does not have a matching physical wired network connection port, we recommend the following:

Make sure that your network device is capable of DHCP and NAT.

Please note that RHRK does not provide support for personal devices!

If you have further questions, please contact your responsible network provider. 

You can usually find them on the bulletin board in your dormitory.
