Ich versuche das Matlab Python Modul auf dem HPC zu installieren.

    Beim Ausführen des Befehls "module load matlab/R2023a" erhalten Sie folgende Meldung:

    Module ERROR: This software is licensed to selected users only.
    In order to use this product, please contact  rz-support@rptu.de.
    child process exited abnormally while executing
    "exec /cluster/rhrk/bin/check-software-permission /software/matlab "
    (file "/software/modulefiles/matlab/R2023a")
    Please contact <root@localhost>


    Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

    module load matlab/R2023a

    module load python/3.8

    cd /software/matlab/R2023a/extern/engines/python
    

    python3 setup.py build --build-base=/tmp/build-$USER install --user

    Die Versionsnummern können Sie natürlich entsprechend Ihren Wünschen anpassen.


    Falls Sie nicht von der RPTU sind, muss die Matlab-Nutzung manuell eingetragen werden. Geben Sie kurz eine Info mit dem Inhalt "HPC -Installation MATLAB Modul und Ihrer Organisationszugehörigkeit" an rz-support@rptu.de mit. Bis dies funktioniert, können bis zu 24 Stunden vergehen. Bitte probieren Sie es einfach immer mal wieder aus (Ab- und Anmeldung ggf. erforderlich).
